Mission
Our purpose is to provide high quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly, caring atmosphere. We are committed to improving the dental health and self-esteem of our patients by providing them with a healthy bite and pleasing smile.
Because orthodontic treatment takes time – generally about two years to complete – we found that we have an opportunity to form a personal relationship with our patients. We have worked since we first began practicing to know our patients and their families personally, to be as respectful of their time as we can be, and to provide service beyond what they normally may expect. From seeing our patients on time, to personalized financial arrangements, to assistance with coordinating their orthodontic treatment with other dental offices, we strive to be as helpful as we possibly can.
Over the past several years, we have worked on improving our ability to present and explain better to our patients the nature of their orthodontic needs and their treatment. Changing to digital radiography and photography allowed patients and their families to see instantly so much more than we could before.
Our challenge is to be technologically advanced enough to make things most convenient for our patients while still maintaining our personal relationship with them.
Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We understand your time is important, and we make every attempt to remain on schedule.
On occasion, our staff has had to stay after hours or through lunch to wait for a patient to be picked up. Please check with the front desk before leaving, therefore, you will know when to return, so the patient can be picked up promptly.
We are aware that unforseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, and if possible, a 24-hour notice would be appreciated if you need to cancel your appointment.
During treatment, school-age patients will occasionally be required to miss some school, as there are some complex procedures that can only be completed in the morning or early afternoon hours. We see our patients at six to eight-week intervals, and we try to alternate the visits between in-school and out-of-school hours. Beyond this, we try to accomodate your schedule as often as possible as long as the patient's treatment is not compromised.
