Our purpose at Dr. Donaghey's orthodontist office is to provide high quality orthodontic treatment in a friendly, caring atmosphere. We are committed to improving the dental health and self-esteem of our patients by providing them with a healthy bite and pleasing smile.

Because orthodontic treatment takes time – generally about two years to complete – we found that we have an opportunity to form a personal relationship with our patients. We have worked since we first began practicing to know our patients and their families personally, to be as respectful of their time as we can be, and to provide service beyond what they normally may expect from a local orthodontist dentist. From seeing our patients on time, to personalized financial arrangements, to assistance with coordinating their orthodontic treatment with other dental offices, we strive to be as helpful as we possibly can.

Over the past several years, we have worked on improving our ability to present and explain better to our patients the nature of their orthodontic needs and their treatment. Changing to digital radiography and photography allowed patients and their families to see instantly so much more than we could before.

Our challenge is to be technologically advanced enough to make things most convenient for our patients while still maintaining our personal relationship with them.

Office Hours

We are available to serve you, answer questions or schedule an orthodontist appointment during the following hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (patient hours)

Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Emergency care outside of these hours is always available.

Appointments

One of our commitments to you is to stay on schedule so that we don't waste your time.

To help us do this, please remember that your orthodontist appointment time has been reserved specifically for you or your child with your specific treatment requirements in mind. If you arrive late, we may not have enough time to complete your scheduled procedure. We know that emergencies happen and unforeseen events can make you miss an appointment. If possible, please give your local dentist a 24-hour notice if you know you cannot keep an appointment. Also remember that rescheduling appointments may make your treatment longer.

We usually see our patients at six to eight week intervals. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule in making appointments for you or your child (as long as treatment is not compromised), but please be aware that some complex procedures can only be completed in the morning or early afternoon hours.

If you choose not to stay at our local dentist office during your child's appointment, please check with the front desk before leaving so that you will know when to return and the patient can be picked up promptly.
